How time flies! This month already marks the third month of Diploma teaching, and as advertisers are already reminding us, Christmas is just around the corner. As students get stuck into their work, and teachers and employers are putting their preparation into practice, we are starting to hear more and more success stories.
Many of these centre around employer engagement. As last month’s issue highlighted, effective employer engagement is key to the delivery of the Diploma, especially when considering the applied (or work-related) learning aspect of the qualification.

As a sector, hospitality is lucky to have the support of so many of its employers. Our list of champions is growing, with 17 new Diploma champions inducted last month – all from one employer, Q-Hotels.
