The Diploma in Hospitality covers the full range of sub-sectors, including hotels, restaurants, pubs, bars, night-clubs, contract food providers, hospitality services, membership clubs and events.
Employer involvement, across the industry, has been a characteristic of the development of the Diploma in Hospitality from day one. Since the earliest consultations about the proposed content of the Diploma, employer partners have taken a lead role in designing a programme of learning which would meet their need for skilled and personable young people capable of taking the industry forward and which, at the same time, would provide learners with a worthwhile body of skills and knowledge that would increase their options and open up routes into the industry or higher education.
As a consequence, the Diplomas have the unwavering support of all those involved in their conception and development and of all those who have subsequently come to know and understand their content, purpose and potential.
